I'm back with a review!
I was shopping at Sephora last week and I saw this nail polish remover. I knew bloggers have been raving about it, and I thought I'd give it a go.
I really hate all the polish removers I had been using in the past. It was a struggle for me to remove everything to the last bit from my nails and the smell was yucky. I even tried pure acetone, which worked, but dried my nails.
So, after hearing all about the Sephora one, my hopes were really high.
I got home and I tried it. It comes in a cute red Sephora packaging. There's a foam inside with a small hole in the center, soaked in the polish remover.
So the thing that makes this different from any other nail polish remover, is that you dip your finger in the foam and either let it there for some seconds, or twist it in the foam a little!
Does it work? Yes, it does.
I was very pleased to see it took off everything. It didn't leave any nasty oily veil on my nails, it didn't dry them out and the smell wasn't terrible. My nails after that, even smelt like I had applied a cream on them, but the scent doesn't linger for long.
This costs around €8 but it's supposed to last me a few months. I change my nail color every 3-4 days, so we'll see how it goes! I will definately repurchase though, it's a good investment if can't stand the standard nail polish removers like me.
For my Greek readers: I know it's pricey, but I got it with a -35% card that's in this month's issue of greek Madame Figaro. Ithink I saw it in Shape magazine, too. The -35% applies to all Sephora products! Also, if you can't find an issue in your area or don't want to buy one, I've found a -35% printable voucher online on this website. (it's right after the giveaway). I've used both the card and the voucher on two different visits to Sephora last weekand they work just the same. Use them before they expire!
Have you tried the Sephora nail polish remover?
