New in

Hey everyone!

I'm still in Athens, which is hot as hell! I am super pissed with my room's air conditioning system, it's either like I'm in the Arctic when it's on, or like the Sahara desert when it's off. Nothing in the middle whatsoever! Ughhhh!!! My weekend so far was like this: I went to the beach yesterday for a while, and then dragged myself home to study again.

Today is elections day, a quite important moment for us Greeks. I just hope everything turns out for the best! I am an optimist by choice, and I really really want us to have a better future.

Anyways, enough with the sadness!

A few days ago, I got a mail with some goodies by Oasap! Here ya go!

The dress is so summery! The skirt is actually made by chiffon, which I love and looks very stylish. The colour combo is super cute and always cheers me up when I look at it!

I also wanted a vintagey looking necklace, I'm such a sucker for these! I got this yellow rose one, that I can  combine with many outfits!

You can find a gazillion clothes and accessories in the Oasap website in bargainous prices and free shipping worldwide. Plus, if you're a fashion blogger, you may have a chance becoming one of their Fashion Hunters!

How was your weekend?

Spring favourites

Hey everyone!

I decided some time ago, I won't do the monthly faves as anyone else does. It gets boring, repetitive and seriously that's not my kind of thing at all. So, I'll do the season favourites instead!

Now, this year spring was not like the past years. It was cold, rainy, dull and I hated it. The only good thing was that it got a little warmer, so my skin wasn't as flaky as usual. This is Greece people, I need my sun rays!

Onto my faves. I used a lot of stuff this spring, some products are new and some I already had in my collection and got reloved.

Skincare

Burt's Bees Citrus Facial scrub
Fabulous product that I use every night. Did some wonders for my skin. Can't live without it. Seriously, it's the best.

Caudalie S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum
I used this in the winter as a serum before my LRP moisturiser. In the spring months though, I reached for it mostly as a moisturiser itself, without using the LRP afterwards. Weird? I know. It's so lightweight I love it and it smells heavenly.

Eyes

Essence gel eyeliner in Midnight in Paris and eyeliner brush
These two were the ultimate combo for my everyday eyeliner. Essence makes the best gel liners in the history of cosmetics, seriously grab as many as you can. They are so nice in texture, the colour payoff is amazing and they're cheap as chips. I was hesitant to try out their brushes, but this particular one is to die for. It's a fact I'm buying a couple more brushes like this.

L'oreal Volume Million Lashes in Brown
I reached out for this mascara the most this spring. I really liked the brown version, I find this was more natural and suited my everyday makeup more than a pitch black mascara. Volume, check.

Prestige eyeliner in Lagoon
I don't know when I got it. Mid-March I found this, unopened, brand new eyeliner in my collection and gave it a try. Wonderful colour, I am sure I'll use it in the summer non stop.

Bobbi Brown Long wear cream eyeshadow in Sandy Gold
Lovely cream eyeshadow, used as a base most of my nights out. As for everyday, I used it on it's own. It's a pale champaign gold color with tiny flecks of glitter. Love.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour eyeshadow in Metallic
Again, I found this in my collection, brand new so, it got the love it deserved this spring. (I think it was part of a set? Meh.) I used it over the Bobbi Brown Sandy Gold when in hurry. It reminds me of MAC's Satin Taupe, a definite warmer version of it.

Stila Faboulous in Fiji
This palette has been in my collection for some time and I think I used it a couple times before. I used the geyish-white color the most on my tear dot and lower lashine, it was fab.
Closer look

Lips/Cheeks/Nails

Sleek Blush Palette in Lace
These blush palettes came out this spring and were an instant hit. Sleek makes lovely blushes, they are highly pigmented and they have a great colour range. I didn't need to use any other blushes, the fact that they came in a palette made it more convenient for me.

Too Faced Boarderline
This is an anti-feathering pencil for your lips. I don't like to use lip pencils all the time, even though I mostly use bold colours. This pencil comes completely transparent on your lips, but it prevents feathering. So, it works with any lipstick colour! WIN.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki
This was a limited edition lipstick MAC came out and I wore it almost every day since the day I got it. It is a bright pink colour with a satin finish. Surprisingly, I didn't look like a Barbie doll with this on.

L'oreal Caresse lipstick in Fashionista Pink
It has become a staple in my makeup bag and I apply it when I need a bit of a shine on my lips. It's buttery
and smells fruity!

Sinful colors in Tinbleberry
I have reapplied this colour on my toe nails about a gazillion times this spring. I'm sure I'll do this in the summer as well.

OPI in Stranger Tides
I love my pastels and this is a strange green one. You'll either hate it or love it. It applies great and doesn't chip at all.

L'oreal Color Riche in Lush Tangerine
I used this so much that the bottle is almost empty. The weather was so freakisingly dull I needed a pop of colour to cheer me up!

Erre Due mini
The best shade for the naked/model look for my skintone. It is very chic and makes my nails look elegant and feminine.

Accessories

Hot-air-balloon necklace
Pastels again! It's identical to an Accessorize one, but I got this on ebay a loooot cheaper. It's so romantic and makes me happy just by looking at it.

H&M turquoise ring
I've been looking for a round chuncky ring with a bold colour and I was so excited I found it in H&M. Super trendy!

Shana bracelet
These were my go-to bracelets, they can be combined with almost any clothes. Plus, very cheap!

And last, but certainly not least, the bag that carries my entire house in. It's from H&M, it's huge and got in handy numerous times as it's the most convenient to take with. I'm not so much of a bag organiser, so I just throw all my stuff in there in no order. And hello, animal print? Yes please!
Maybe I'll do a what's in my bag post soon, we'll see!
