I love flower prints, I always did.So the SS12, flowers have exploded and they're everywhere! The best way to wear this trend for me, is to keep it simple accessory-wise and to wear just one floral piece (like a skirt or a pair of pants) but keep everything else monochromatic.
On Monday, I went to the H&M/Marni event in downtown Athens with my bestie. There were loads and loads of people! That's not exactly good for me, I don't enjoy packed places and I often feel claustrophobic when I'm in them.
How I felt about the Marni collection? For me, it was just meh. I didn't see much of it in the store though, everything was gone when I got there. I only got to see just a pair of shorts hanging on a rack. I did however some shopping that day, I had some champaign and I hang out with my best friend, which is always fun!

If you noticed, there are no clothes on the shelves and the racks. People are just socializing!

I saw the collection at a fashion blog a few days earlier and I didn't like anything, so why bother going and waiting anyway. BTW I didn't know H&M got the old Sprider store at Ermou, I rarely go downtown to notice that, most of the times I don't go further the Mac store at Ermou st. LOL
ReplyDeleteI didn't know this one existed either! We first thought it was on the other H&M store that's next to Sephora :P We had a 25% off and actually wanted to buy stuff, but not anything by Marni.

DeleteThe collection is beautiful and also my kind of thing, i really want that skirt, but since they won't be in Ioannina, i will have to wait till summer when i will be down in Athens(grrrrrrr)
